HOLY CRAP Trump actually accomplished a miracle. Here is what he got out of Iran:
- Reduce its stockpile of enriched uranium by about 98%
- Limit uranium enrichment to 3.67% purity (far below weapons-grade)
- Cut the number of installed centrifuges by roughly two-thirds
- Only enrich uranium at one declared site (Natanz)
- Stop enrichment activities at Fordow and convert it into a research facility
- Redesign the Arak heavy-water reactor so it could not easily produce weapons-grade plutonium
- Ship out or dilute excess enriched uranium
Allow extensive inspections by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)
Permit continuous monitoring of nuclear facilities and supply chains
- Accept “snap” inspections under expanded monitoring rules
- Avoid building new heavy-water reactors for years
- Stay within strict limits on uranium stockpile size and centrifuge development for set periods ranging from 10–25 years
Ooops, sorry!
That was the JCPOA that Obama signed with Iran, only to have him tear it up, kill 140 kids, get hundreds of Americans injured, 13 killed, and gas prices to surge 50%.
Trump: “When we go in church and I drink my little wine....and have my little cracker, I guess that’s a form of asking for forgiveness.”
This fucking idiot expects us to believe he goes to church.
BREAKING: CHINA DESTROYS TRUMP
Trump: We need $2 billion a day to reopen the Strait of Hormuz
China's FM Senator: But the Strait of Hormuz was already open before the war? The root cause of this disruption is your illegal military operations against Iran.
You have created a Global Crisis OUT OF NOTHING”
@ShaykhSulaiman US Senator points out the absolute insanity of spending 2 billion dollars a day to reopen the Strait of Hormuz when it was already open before Trump started the war.
They created a global crisis out of nothing.
Take a moment to look at the inhumanity captured in this extraordinary photo running on the front page of tonight's Minneapolis @StarTribune. It shows federal immigration agents immobilizing a protester on the ground and spraying chemical irritant directly into his face. The scene reminds me of the brutality used against civil rights protesters in the 1960s. We look back at those old photos and wonder how the authorities could have behaved so savagely; many years from now, young Americans will look at these photos from 2026 and wonder how anyone could have justified shooting a woman in the head as she tried to drive away, arresting 5-year-old schoolchildren on the street, or holding a man down and spaying chemicals into his face. Thanks to the Star Tribune reporters and photographers for documenting this work; they create accountability, they make democracy work, and they make all of us in journalism proud.
Elon Musk says that no one has died because he slashed humanitarian aid. I went to South Sudan to check if that's true. It's not. Within an hour of starting interviews, I had the names of a 10-year-old boy and an 8-year-old girl who had died because of decisions by wealthy men in Washington.
The visit that moved me the most was to a remote area that used to have no health care, where women routinely died in childbirth. Then a US-funded maternity clinic opened through @UNFPA in December, and not one woman has died since. I showed up, and people mistakenly thought I was responsible for the clinic. One new mom wanted to name her baby for me, and the village elders thanked me and hailed America's generosity. What they didn't know was that Trump/Musk had cut all funding for UNFPA and that as a result the maternity clinic will close this month, and women will once again be bleeding to death in the dust.
Here's a giftlink to my report from ground level about what the shutdown of USAID means: https://t.co/tbgKk7ESqj
@highbrow_nobrow British troops, killed supporting America's war in Afghanistan through our support under NATO Article 5.
But JD Vance says that this never happened.
He never even said thank you.
@WastwichBarnes @gopbro2024 Beaver Stadium - ~107,000 seats.
Bryce Jordan Center - ~16,000 seats, but photos of the rally in progress show that the upper deck is curtained off, so it's about half full.
@krishnakamal077 That's every seat in the lower level. They have the curtains drawn on the upper deck so it will not look half-full. Maximum capacity is about 16,000, so there might be 8,000 there.
