For Mr. Musk (Elon)
@elonmusk
I just ordered a Model Y from Norfolk Tesla. The main reason for my switching to Tesla is because of my failing eyesight (Macula Degeneration)
I have two suggestions and/requests.
1. The display screen does not allow me to adjust the contrast. Only brightness. With my MD, I am losing my ability to see fine details. Being able to adjust the contrast would enhance the display for me. Is it possible to update the display screens to enable both brightness and contrast? That would be great.
2. The main reason for me even considering switching to Tesla is again due to my MD. The auto drive feature is critical for my continued independence. The cost, however, is rather steep. Would it be possible to offer a free or reduced rate for auto drive to owners who have documented visual impairments such as Macula Degeneration?
I am eagerly anticipating getting my Model Y and hope and pray that it does for me what I expect it will.
