@Midatlblog To be honest the whole govt of Lagos State should be investigated by EFCC. All the cars purchased by inflating invoices, or the numerous foreign trips via business class and ridiculously high estacode should be investigated by EFCC. You expect people to willingly pay tax for fun

@Midatlblog The same aa Ogombo Rd. The other day the whole govt drove on Ogombo Rd in brand new cars worth more than it will take to fix the road to a high standard and the irony is that a few days later the same Governor flew out of Nigeria to the US seeking foreign investors to Lagos.

@Midatlblog Check out this road in the Hague where I am for a few days. Pavement, off-street parking, cycle lane and then the road. Why can't Ogombo Rd be like this. It is really not rocket science.

@renoomokri Agreed with your statements. Nigeria was actually printing money to pay bills leading to massive inflation. Unfortunately the Northerners believe in the economy of giving money to people to control them as opposed to teaching the people how to make money by leveraging education.

@EbiriGbonka Giving money to people is always fraught with issues of fraud, accountability etc and doesn't translate to much except in peculiar circumstances like Covid. The best thing is reduced taxes and levies so business owners can employ more people and increase salaries for staff.

@fimiletoks Subsidy on fuel is a scam and unworkable in any form. The reason why fuel is expensive worldwide is because of the war in Iran and Ukraine which Nigeria has no control of. So if there is something else affecting the global price of fuel who provides the extra subsidy for low cost

@Midatlblog I read somewhere that Eko Atlantic has 53 bridges going over canals and waterways. This is what can happen when competent professionals are in charge. See what Wike and Umahi have done in 3 years. See how they supervised and in some cases educated contractors on standards etc
