“Bill of Rights at 30: Making Human Dignity Real'
Our director, Gail Davids, was interviewed by young broadcasters at Red Cross Radio station @RxRadioFM on Intellectual Disability Awareness during Human Rights month. #DisabilityRights are Human Rights!
We need more special needs government schools. Too many people have been on waiting lists for years due to lack of space. They also can’t afford the private schools.
@AkhumoKay@AfricanDream01 Inclusive education is our aspiration & requires changes in attitude, policy and practice for social inclusion and cohesion. The system has to be transformed: human and financial resources, teacher & parent development. #DisabilityRights Aluta continua! #DisabilityVisibility
On World NGO Day we honour adults, the youth and children with intellectual disability. With our members, we will amplify their voices to promote justice, dignity & the equitable enjoyment of all their human rights. We focus on education rights - the gateway to all human rights.
