Day 4 | Bekaa Valley 🇱🇧

Heavy rain. Deep mud. Long days.
And yet — incredible moments of purpose, connection and humanity.

Our volunteers returned to the camps in the rain to deliver aid, sit with families, listen to their stories and remind them they are not forgotten. When our aid truck became stuck in the mud, volunteers and children from the camp pushed together until it was free — a small moment that captured the spirit of this journey.

We met families who had lost their tents to fire, widows raising children alone, and families transitioning from survival to stability. Volunteers didn’t just distribute aid — they showed up, carried dignity, and stood alongside people during some of the hardest moments of their lives.

From visiting orphanages and playing with children, to helping turn empty apartments into homes, to ending the day with Qur’an, community and shared meals — this is what volunteering on the ground truly looks like.

It’s not easy.
It’s not comfortable.
But it is life-changing — for them, and for you.

Day 3 | Bekaa Valley 🤍

Today took us deeper into the camps, the tents, and the hearts of families living through unimaginable hardship — yet meeting it with remarkable patience and strength.

Our team split into two, reaching different camps across Bekaa to distribute food, clothing, winter essentials and moments of joy for the children. In the depth of winter, these simple items meant warmth, dignity, and reassurance that they are not forgotten.

We then sat with families inside their tents during home visits — listening, learning, and understanding their realities beyond what any photo can capture.

Later, we reunited at Dar Al Mawaddah and Bait Al Rahma orphanages, where we were welcomed with overwhelming love from orphans and widows. The children shared handmade gifts, nasheeds, Qur’an recitation and memorised ahadith — and even surprised two of our volunteers with a birthday celebration. Moments like these stay with you forever.

We ended the day with smiles and laughter, joining the children for a mini football match before returning to the hotel physically tired, but hearts full.

Day 2 – Serving with Dignity & Compassion 🌱

From visiting vulnerable families in Beirut to supporting mothers, widows, and children at Jadra orphanages and Sabra & Shatila. Food, clothing, and cash assistance delivered with care — restoring dignity where it’s needed most.

We then travelled to the Bekaa, spending time with children at Hope Orphanage and Zulekha Centre, preparing for the camps ahead.

Every box carried relief.
