Amazing women are being empowered to help others survive and thrive. Together in health groups they overcome their problems with life-saving ideas. Join us.
We thank all of our supporters, staff, trustees, volunteers and communities that we have worked with in the last 25 years to support women, children, mothers and babies to identify their health challenges and work together to find the solutions to overcome them.
We are delighted to launch our legacy impact report, highlighting the achievements of Women & Children First and our in-country partners over the last 25 years.
Save the Date - We are holding a celebratory webinar on Tuesday 25th March, 11am GMT, to mark 25 years of our work, and the achievements of our partners championing community participation in global health. Sign up to our mailing list for registration info https://t.co/RQfXTnmo3U
Over the last year, with the help from the EA Foundation, Coles Medlock Foundation, and other funders, we have been able to train 5 consultants from various countries in our methodology.
Over the next few weeks, we will be looking back on everything we have achieved alongside our partners throughout our existence. We will be highlighting the community groups, our partners and their work, and showcasing the potential of the community health approach.

Had an absolute joy of a show at @lsqtheatre last night for the brilliant @WCF_UK annual comedy fundraiser. Never been a more important time to protect women’s rights and access to care globally as so eloquently put by @hellobethsilver
The project, called SHINE, focuses on culturally-sensitive nutrition education and advice to ensure children from South Asian communities can get the best start in life.
All women, all around the world, should have the right to choose if and when they have children.
All women should have the right to have control over their bodies, health and future.
All women should be able to access healthcare, including abortion and family planning services.
Tickets are selling fast for this and I heard a rumour there is one more act to announce and you will not mind it 😉 might facilitate an even harsher crop for me though…
