Want to play CFB27 7-Days early with MVP+ Members?
I’ve teamed with @EASportsCollege to give away some codes!
Repost and reply with #CFB27 for a chance to win a DLX Code.
They told me they’d give me an early copy if I posted this.
But it’s real and a few of you will get the game
@Rally_House, it’s the 36th game of the 2026 MLB season for the @Cardinals, and you still have a commercial airing which promotes Willson Contreras, who currently plays for the Red Sox. #STLCards
Lars Nootbaar just made one of the most impressive catches you'll ever see.
- 116 ft covered
- 29.3 ft/s sprint speed (fastest of the year by 1.3 ft/s)
- 30% catch probability🤡
I don’t see this changing, unfortunately. The truth is, Bill DeWitt Jr. made his bed when he said owning a franchise isn’t as profitable as one might think. Then his son laughed at the fans’ response of not showing up, stating that it would just make them spend less.
St. Louis is a proud city, and that includes the St. Louis Cardinals. That’s our team—it’s still our team.
What the DeWitts fail to realize is that we’re not showing up because we’re not interested in them. We’re not broke and unable to afford coming to games. It’s not even entirely about the wins and losses on a nightly basis—we don’t expect to win a championship every season.
We’re not coming out because of the opposite: we love this franchise. It’s in our blood. Cardinals baseball is different from any other baseball town in this country—it’s our creed. We’re brainwashed from birth to love those birds.
We love them more than you do, and we see what you’ve done. We see how you’ve treated them. We finally see you, the DeWitts, for who you are: outsider businessmen who never understood what this city is or what this team means.
They posed long enough to convince us they did. They thrived on luck—from the initial investment, to McGwire, to the one-in-a-million draft of Molina and Pujols, to having a solid GM in Walt who made magic with every move. They just sat back and called themselves stewards of a prestigious franchise—until it wasn’t.
It’s the most common saying in life: don’t bite the hand that feeds you. And they bit us—they bit us hard.
We love this team, our bloodline for the next thousand years. As long as this world spins and baseball is played, we will love this team.
We just figured out they don’t. And here in this city, we’re all too familiar with snakes taking away things we love.
So it’s time to call a spade a spade and have a real, honest conversation about a couple of snakes. #STLCards #ForTheLou
Ryan Helsley led the league and broke a franchise record with 49 saves on an 82-win team in 2024
He didn’t allow a single earned run his last 17 games of the year. Hells Bells was something else
I’ve reached a point with my love for Willson Contreras that I just don’t care if it makes sense to move him at some point. I don’t want him to play for another team. Simply the best.
