This morning the WCFD (Station 52) responded to the area of East Marshall and North Walnut Streets for a report of a school bus fire.
WCFD confirmed there was no fire, just a mechanical issue with the bus.
WCFD along with WCPD assisted the children to a second bus safety.

WCFD’s PIO, @PIOMarch provided a briefing for @6abc on local efforts to combat the latest snowstorm Sunday afternoon.
By evening, PIO March was working with WCFD and WCPD to obtain information on a below grade transformer fire.

The new “Engine 52-1” has been lettered and is ready to leave the factory at Custom Fire Apparatus, Inc. Within the next day it will begin its journey to its new home at the Good Will Fire Company #2 of West Chester.

Tonight, Station 51 was out at Borough Parking Garages drilling with standpipe operations!
WCFD (Station 51) responded to the 100 block of N. Darlington Street, West Chester Borough this afternoon for an odor of national gas.
Small leak was found from a service meter outside of a residential which was secured by FD.
