This week, our students competed in grade level spelling bees as round one of the Scripp's National Spelling Bee. One winner from each grade level will compete against each other to see who will represent WCMS at the regional competition in Wilkes-Barre! 🐝

Our students had a great time getting creative and competitive for the annual Fall Door Decorating Contest! The voting will take place next week so stay tuned for this year's winner!

It was the first year for the Keystone Competition at the IU and our WCMS team won 2nd place in their grade band for their innovative product, Life Ladder, which supports academic autonomy and promotes positive behavior systems in K–12 schools. Great job, team!!

Is your WCMS student interested in playing a Winter Sport? If so, a physical will be required. Please see the information on our website to register for a free physical. WCMS offers the following Winter Sports to our 7th and 8th graders: Boys and Girls Wrestling and Basketball.

Spring sports have kicked off at WCMS! This week, our boys' volleyball team began the season with two victories—a fantastic start! On Wednesday, they defeated Easton, and tonight they secured a win against Trexler.

WCMS Spring Open House is this Thursday from 5-7pm! We can't wait to host students and families for a fun-filled night. All of our grade levels and departments will be hosting various activities throughout the building! We hope to see you there.

Join us in supporting WCMS Student Council as they gather donations for their "Souper Bowl" food drive. Throughout the week, they are collecting non-perishable food items, which will be given to the Whitehall Food Pantry. Let's help our students give back to the community!

Today was the first lettuce harvest from our new @ForkFarms vertical hydroponic farming station. Mr. Witcher, with help from a few students, got quite a haul of lettuce for the faculty salad bar on Wednesday. Stay tuned for those pictures!
