it’s sad when other athletes try to silence the victims with their “good experiences”. like congrats but not everyone has the same experience. stop invalidating others just bc it doesn’t line up w what you went through.
@MichellePuccio1 and funnily enough, I never said it wasn't wonderful in my original tweet, just that it's an experience that seems to be very unique to north america 🤷♀️
@MichellePuccio1 Hiya! Coming from someone who was raised Catholic in Ireland, I've first hand experience of what happens when you involve the church in other establishments. It's not always bad, but it can very marginalising and non-inclusive for those who don't believe :)
