@ChronicleNUFC These headlines/captions are bizarre. Completely taken out of context and for what? Trying to make our fans dislike one of the only big players to have left on good terms in recent years? Seen a few of these from The Chronicle. Perfect example of what’s wrong with journalism

[Will Chadbon @WChadbon]

@NUFCBlogcouk Demba Ba genuinely had it all.

Got shifted out of position when Papiss came in and went on that mental run, but just got on with it and did his job.

Would take Ba at his best up top now over almost any past NUFC striker tbh (obvious ones excluded)

@swinburne_mark Stick Ginola in that empty number 10 spot

[Will Chadbon @WChadbon]

@MagpieMediaX ?

[Will Chadbon @WChadbon]

@The_Looney_Toon Full backs definitely a big issue. Do you think they’re backing Miley to be Tino cover?

[Will Chadbon @WChadbon]

@ToonTakeover_ Botman at his peak was one of the best CBs I’ve seen for us. Playing through an ACL has a serious impact on you mentally - feeling like your body can’t support you, especially when you’re a physical player. If he stays fit and builds confidence we might see him back to his best

[Will Chadbon @WChadbon]

@CharIieBennett 100%. Can’t imagine how different our current situation would be if Isak had signed a new contract rather than forced his way out. Most players would’ve probs wanted to stay and we’d have been a much more appealing club for new signings

[Will Chadbon @WChadbon]

@swinburne_mark Would love it to be Ramsey

[Will Chadbon @WChadbon]

@JaissleEra He clearly wasn’t properly fit at all last season, and looked pretty sharp in the World Cup. Could definitely be a useful player under Jaissle - might even start vs Liverpool?

[Will Chadbon @WChadbon]

@nufcfans @ljacks1118 What about Brentford last season? Lost their best players and experienced manager in summer, then had their joint-best PL season ever

[Will Chadbon @WChadbon]

@iamJimalo @centregoals @JacobsBen Yes, and Isak left once Newcastle’s asking price was reached. The same will happen with Bruno - he’ll leave once Arsenal agree to Newcastle’s fee

[Will Chadbon @WChadbon]

@iamJimalo @centregoals @JacobsBen Isak was allowed to leave as soon as Liverpool matched Newcastle asking price. Assume the same here

[Will Chadbon @WChadbon]

@GallowgateEcho @lawesdisorder 100%, and his age will be a big factor. Winning the big stuff matters to players - see how close Gerrard came to leaving Liverpool in 2005 before Istanbul. Said he wanted to write his name in the history books and he has - so should be treated that way

[Will Chadbon @WChadbon]

@pradtiw I think Marsh is out - Inglis instead?

[Will Chadbon @WChadbon]

@MagpieMediaX @NUFC ?

[Will Chadbon @WChadbon]

@pradtiw If you had to pick two bowlers today, who would you choose?

[Will Chadbon @WChadbon]

@pradtiw So hard to trust Kishan this season 😆 Tempted to C Rahul, VC Abishek

[Will Chadbon @WChadbon]

@pradtiw Kudos for sticking with Finn Allen 😂 Gill C for me today

[Will Chadbon @WChadbon]

@pradtiw Any concern on Kohli fitness?
