Students interested in WDC's High School Fishing Team should mark their calendar's for Monday January 19th at 6:30 PM. An organizational meeting will be held with Coach White. If you are interested, please come that night ready to learn about the team! It is open to 6-12 graders.
The Wolverines opened Conference Play with a 3-0 sweep of the Pillager Huskies at The Den tonight. Next up, the Wolverines travel to Sauk Rapids for a Tournament on Saturday at 10 AM.

Last week over 50 young men honed their skills on the Wolverine Practice Field. Tonight through Wednesday, the WDC coaching staff will offer a second mini camp open to all student-athletes in Grades 7-12. It is open to all and you need not have attended the first camp.
Fall Sports are quickly approaching. Practices start August 11th.
Reminder: Students must have a valid Sports Physical to participate. Contact your provider today so your child doesn't miss a minute.
Physicals are done every three years, usually in 7th and 10th grades.

The WDC Girls Golf Team wrapped up an excellent season at the Section 6AA Tournament on June 3rd.
Sophomore Emma Weniger finished just two shots out of the State Meet with a 7th place finish. Senior Amara Neuerburg finished in 15th place out of 70! Way to go Emma and Amara!
Emma Weniger and Amara Neuerburg shot a 90 and 91 respectively to advance to day two of Section Golf! Both will play 9 holes tomorrow at 9 AM for a chance to advance to the State Tournament! Good Luck Girls!

Congratulations to Emma Weniger, who was the 1st place medalist with a score of 90 at the Wapicada Golf Course on May 27th! Amara Neuerburg shot a 103 and finished 28th in the 60 golfer field!
On behalf of WDC and the Class of 2025, we'd like to say a big thank you to WDC Alum Katie Fiemeyer (Class of '24) for her work setting up and running the show on the video board at Graduation on Friday. The board was set up on Monday and by Friday, she had a great production!
WDC wrapped up a great season with a 2-1 ten inning loss to DGF in the Section 8AA Tournament. Both teams were brilliant in a tense, exciting, well played game. WDC finishes 19-5. Congratulations on a fantastic year Coach Umland and team! You made us proud!
