Year 2 using digital drawing tools to design and plan a paper structure. The hard part? It needs to be 50cm and hold a mass of 1kg! @Curriculum_USP @baronbedford

In our @Curriculum_USP Structures DT unit, Year 2 have been exploring the strength of paper. We found out that paper strength is increased through folding. We managed to hold a 1kg weight thanks to corrugating our paper.

In Year 2 science, we are thinking about what plants need to thrive. We set up an investigation. Which plant do you think will thrive? Which will wither? @Curriculum_USP @baronbedford

Reception had a great time visiting Broxted Hill Farm. Despite the poor weather, we had lots of fun exploring the wheat fields and the grain store. We learned what our bread, bagels and cereal are made from and how. We even went on a mini beast hunt!

It's been almost 3 months since the @Curriculum_USP Food Festival but we're still thinking about the delicious food we made in Early Years!

In nursery, we've been captivated by "The Very Hungry Caterpillar"! We explored the butterfly life cycle and made a fruit salad, tasting different fruits like the caterpillar did. It's been a week of discovery, learning, and embracing the magic of transformation!
