Over and over, the CBC made false and damaging allegations.

WE is suing the CBC to set the record straight for the thousands of children its donors set out to help. Using the documentary record, WE will prove that the CBC pursued a false narrative despite clear evidence.

WE Charity’s lawsuit against the CBC is supported by extensive evidence showing that the CBC knowingly or recklessly disregarded the truth in its reporting.

Below are some of the inaccurate and damaging claims made by the CBC.

WE Charity did not deceive its donors, as the CBC claimed based on interviews with 2 former donors.

Meanwhile, over 100 major donors told the CBC their reporting was wrong and that WE had clearly explained the funding model for Kenya projects. Their voices were ignored.
