The besieged Indian 6th Division suffered almost 4, 000 casualties - including over 700 men dying of disease in the unsanitary conditions.

The talk will cover the contribution of key individuals and organisations that came to 🇷🇸 aid.

Today marks the 110th anniversary of the raid on Sunderland by
German Navy Zeppelin L11 commanded by Korvettenkapitan Victor Schütze. The raid caused 22 fatalities & 128 injuries.
5 weeks later L11 was used in observing ship movements during the Battle of Jutland.
