After the Bataclan massacre in 2015, when 90 were murdered at a Paris nightclub, La Marseillaise was played at every Premier League stadium the following weekend. The refusal to illuminate the Wembley Arches in solidarity with #Israel brings no credit to the @FA. Our statement:
Response to the @fa
We are extremely appalled and disappointed with this cowardly response, to what was a terrorist attack perpetrated by a proscribed terrorist organisation who's mission statement is clear - to murder Jews
@fa This has nothing to do with picking sides - this is about condemning terrorism as well as antisemitism.
It's a damning statement that has again made the Jewish community feel completely ostracised from the football community
🚨 The Premier League is facing calls from clubs to provide a formal response to the outbreak of war in Israel, with executives at several of them unhappy at the sport's silence since the attack by Hamas.
