As Summer nears, Warwick Firefighters are in the water training to Red Cross Lifeguard standards. With 39 miles of coastline and over 14 square miles of water, our water rescue capabilities are vital to our mission to protect Warwick residents and visitors.
Today, we remember those lost on that cold February night in West Warwick. Our thoughts are with the families and friends they left behind. We are also thankful for the survivors and are mindful of the heavy burden they have borne all these years.
Awful news out of Baltimore. This morning 3 firefighters from Baltimore Firefighters IAFF Local 734 and Baltimore Fire Officers IAFF Local 964 were killed battling a fire. A fourth firefighter is in serious condition. We pray for our brothers and sisters in Baltimore.
