To commemorate 10 years since the signing of the Comprehensive Agreement on the Bangsamoro, we collaborated with @WFD_Bangsamoro and @Asia_Foundation to host a special Iftar in the BARMM for over 150 of our Muslim brothers and sisters.

Trainers are Kenyan MP Millie Grace Odhiambo & UK MP Elizabeth Katherine Roberts who shared experiences as WPL navigating the challenging pol landscape in their countries. This is the 1st of the series of retreats spread in 2024 as the @BangsamoroGovt preps for 2025 elections.

11 successful & promising women from across the five provinces of Bangsamoro convened for the 𝐅𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐅𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐨 held in Davao City, Philippines from 5 to 6 February 2024.

Delegates come from different polparties, some are former politicians or gov't officials, & others are newbies in the political field who are contemplating to stand for elections in 2025 & beyond or take a proactive role in supporting women’s leadership within their polparties.
