In lieu of our Orientation trip to ATL that was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, where we would have visited GaTech, Spelman, Morehouse and NAS Atlanta, each senior was given a $500 career/college starter check!

Our Commanding Officer, Cadet Destiny Mitchell, was selected for the #NROTC Preparatory Program Scholarship, worth nearly $165,000!!! In August, she will enroll @SouthernU_BR and will become a member of @REDSTICKBATTAL1 #WeAreWestFel #WeAreSouthern #FutureNavalOfficer

Our two highest ranking cadets, Destiny Mitchell and Tab Hebert, are completing their final interviews at USMC Recruiting Station Baton Rouge for the National #NROTC scholarship program and the Frederick C. Branch scholarship! Good luck to both of these OUTSTANDING CADETS!!!
