Beautiful examples of condensation in the cold air above the warmer waters of Lake Ontario as seen looking south across The Pines’ fields this past week:)
Green Power in NB: “The Big Tree”, an Eastern White Pine, over 500 years old, opposite Aroostook, had been in the path of the Trans-Canada highway, but was so powerfully advocated for by caring citizens that the highway was routed around it! Far too big too hug, but I tried!
Geometric solids in action: Check out this effective use of triangular-based pyramids to protect the harbour in the lobster fishing village of Port Morien, Nova Scotia. Math rocks (or in this case, concretes)!
@RandysVinylTap@BTObandofficial Love seeing that BTO neon! Brings back amazing memories of attending my very first concert with friends Chris and Dave just before grade seven at the CNE Stadium in Toronto, summer of ‘76! Four Wheel Drive and Not Fragile still aces:)
Best paddling buds ever! Well-prepared and always smiling through adversity. Notice Capt. M.J., though perplexed by the sudden lack of speed, never once abandoned the ship:)
So proud of our daughter for the supreme dedication, tenacity and perseverance demonstrated in earning a B. Eng. degree, joining the next generation of complex problem-solvers in building a better global tomorrow! Bravo!
Margo, thanks for meeting up for coffee at Spadina and Bloor after our Special Education A.Q. Course 30 years ago today! Our lifelong journey has been one truly amazing adventure!
Word has just come in that all donated items in one completely filled van have now been delivered for sorting and prioritizing for air shipment to Ukrainian refugees in this time of great need! Thank you so much for your consideration and generosity. Way to go North Stars!
This is what community looks like @kprschools So proud of the efforts of staff, students, parents and caregivers! We have a global responsibility to show care and compassion. In action we hear and see love! @CourticeNorthPS
You know you’re married to an amazing teacher when no neighbourhood recycling opportunity is ever missed (e.g, just think about the opportunities for learning about capacity, patterning, geometry, number sense, percussion….:)
Our teachers have been incredibly resilient and dedicated throughout the pandemic.
For that, I want to extend my utmost gratitude and appreciation. Thank you for all of your work.
