Highlighting local and national environmental issues. Helping to preserve, protect and pursue a healthy, green society. From our borough? Get involved!
Well said, @Chris_Boardman and @BritishCycling. Channel 5’s “scourge of our streets” film is just unhelpful.
Enough tribalism & clickbait demonisation. Cyclists also walk. Pedestrians also drive. Some drivers even (gasp) cycle.
Let’s just make our streets work for all, agreed?
Dear @claireperrymp
We've got less than 12 years to act in order to stop a climate catastrophe.
You've got the power to ban fracking and shift the government's focus to renewable technology that will help us cut carbon emissions.
Please do something!
Looking forward to launching Plastic-Free Leytonstone this Tuesday. Speakers from @wfcouncil@WildGooseBakery@friends_earth, opportunities to get involved in local action, ways to reduce your own plastic use. Come along!
Remember to take your water bottle with you to work today! 15 million plastic bottles are littered, landfilled or incinerated every day just in the UK and you can help to change this.
America's push for oil and gas supremacy could lead to a climate catastrophe.
To avert climate disaster, we need a #GreenNewDeal that phases out fossil fuels and offers a just transition to renewable energy.

Morning #Walthamstow we're outside @sainsburys in the High Street asking customers to hand back any unnecessary plastic packaging from their shopping so we can collect it and show what a waste it all is. Join the #ShoppersRevolt! #E17
@jonburkeUK And changing those structures is requires political action in response to public pressure, right? And that can come from individual awareness and behaviour.
Love to know more about your plastic reduction @hackneycouncil.
Daughter got @dkbooks Children's Illustrated Encyclopedia for Xmas. Wind turbines "are large and noisy and take up huge areas of land", but the page on oil mentions neither pollution or climate breakdown. Has someone paid @dkbooks to get this stuff out to kids?
