@VTTurfweeds Thanks for the info. What I’ve seen I’d say mirrors what you’ve just said. We’ll likely try split applications, though some industry friends have expressed that they’ve seen less control that way. However, I’ll take that over the damage we’ve seen. Thanks again!
@VTTurfweeds That’s fantastic to see, unfortunately we’ve all been told that there will be no more availability of Tupersan in 2021 because the manufacturer shut down production permanently. Time to stockpile.
@keller_curtis Immediately upon seeing this picture the first thing that came to mind was “There Will be Blood” with your favorite homeboy Daniel Day-Lewis.
The #ryegrass@YucaipaValleyGC is hanging on pretty good so far this summer. Weather for the next two weeks is favorable too with no days over 100 forecasted.🤞🏻Last fall’s three way blend seems to be helping. #isitfallyet
Special thanks to @ATGCSuper as we recover. He let us rent out the #TriWave40 to get a little #bentgrass back in those rough spots. 🙏🏻 On the bright side, ryegrass collars are gorgeous!
Is this bad? Asking for a friend(s). 🤦🏻♂️ Lost a green two years in a row to Take All Patch one year and Pythium Root Dysfunction the other. 🤔 #turfproblems Glad @ChrisJenningsSP hooked us up with nematicides even before getting the results back. 🙏🏻
Happy Memorial Day! Anyone in SoCal own a #TriWave we can borrow so that maybe we have grass by Labor Day? 🤦🏻♂️ #TakeAllParch#2020Sucks I’ll let you borrow our stumpgrinder anytime you want! haha
Well... we thought it was pythium root dysfunction (had it last year) but Jenny at Turf Diagnostics confirmed it was Take All Patch. Rough start to the season for these bentgrass greens. 2020 not being kind to turf either! Notice in the 1st pic the POA survivors. 🤦🏻♂️
Sometimes it’s not even turf equipment that gets me excited. Wanted a stump grinder for the portfolio for a long time. Finally found a good used one at a reasonable price! 🙏🏻 Now everyone can fight over it.
Over in @cityofbrea @BreaCreekGC is on point as always! What a gem this little 9 hole executive course is. Superintendent Juan Villalpando does a great job there!
Just a heads up to our friends in the Bay Area, if you submit an NOI right now it is apparently turning into an on site visit from an inspector immediately. None in a decade, 2 today. #ContraCostaCounty
We will be staying the course and opening Monday. Many other properties in the Contra Costa area electing to do the same. @SRGC_DEALS is looking forward to finally being open again!
Northern California Counties sending mixed messages and going back on their word again. I guess some of us WON’T be open on Monday after all. I think at this point we all wish the Bay Area could just get it together already. https://t.co/RmA3Shm8aa
