Pupils of WGS in 1923, 100 years ago. Proud to think of all the pupils who have been part of our community, past, present and also in the future who go on to make incredible differences in their chosen fields, to their communities, or to the world in general. #IWD2023
Great to hear about the importance of female role models and women in stem alumna Julia. The ethos of equal opportunity has always been important at Withington

We are delighted to be named North West Independent Secondary School of the Year in The Sunday Times Schools Guide 2023. The accolade is testament to our exceptional pupils and dedicated staff and marks the fourth consecutive year that we have been recognised top in our region.
A constant and reassuring presence for us all throughout our entire lives, we are united in our sense of loss and we are grateful for Queen Elizabeth II's enduring sense of duty and service. We will reflect on the life of Her Majesty within our community over the coming days.
We were so pleased to be able to welcome the Class of 2021 back to Withington for their first alumnae event. It was lovely to catch up with them and find out how they are getting on. Looking forward to welcoming the Class of 2020 back at 4pm on Tuesday 13th September!
Congratulations to alumna Deshna Shah who has an exhibition, ‘In Translation’, at the @V_and_A on Friday 29th July as part of the V&A Friday Late: My East is Your West. The event is free and open to drop-in from 6.30pm to 10pm. If you are in London, why not pop along?
Wonderful to come together as the whole school for our final assembly of the year – the first for 3 years. Wishing the Class of 2022, all the very best. We left the assembly with the traditional assembly song ‘Go Forth With God’ with everyone looking forward to the summer break.
Very proud to see Junior School pupil Eden on Monday’s @BBCBreakfast speaking about her role in ‘The Railway Children Return’. Eden plays 'Pattie' in the much-anticipated sequel to the 1970s classic film. Congratulations to Eden. We’re all looking forward to seeing her in-action.
It's #VolunteersWeek. A huge THANK YOU to all those who support our students through your willingness to share your experiences of university, training & careers. It makes a huge difference. This is from our Languages for Life event earlier this year.

A huge thank you to @InterlinkR and Daniel and Louis Rosenthal for their generous donation to our Bursary Fund, helping us to open up opportunities for a talented individual to benefit from a Withington education. https://t.co/AgxZgx9jsN
