[I ❤️ the seventies @WHAuden]

@LachlanMain @daveainsworth63 The Adventures of Barry Mackenzie may not be suitable for today’s audience but the cast was wonderful and a lot of Barry Humphries jokes are timeless

@fjv4usn @oxley264 Paul Henreid and Conrad Veidt both came into that category

[I ❤️ the seventies @WHAuden]

@daveainsworth63 Dead of Night and The Lady Vanishes are two of my favourite films! To borrow a quote from Bill Shankly, golf and cricket were not life and death. They were much more important!

[I ❤️ the seventies @WHAuden]

@daveainsworth63 She and Jonathan Newth had my dream job! Running a shop surrounded by old books and very few customers!

@Robin_Askwith The top grossing British film of 1974! And a fabulous cast! As a teenage schoolboy the closest I got to seeing it was walking past the billboards showing the X certificate! Yet another reason to love the 70s!

[I ❤️ the seventies @WHAuden]

@archivetvmus71 The wonderful Liver Birds.

[I ❤️ the seventies @WHAuden]

@oxley264 Strongroom is a neglected masterpiece. The tension builds right up until the chilling twist in the last couple of minutes.

[I ❤️ the seventies @WHAuden]

@TalkingPicsTV A truly ageless classic. One of my all time favourites from @TalkingPicsTV

[I ❤️ the seventies @WHAuden]

@rdone @Acyn Ask him about Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The two greatest war crimes in the history of the world that went unpunished.

[I ❤️ the seventies @WHAuden]

@rdone @Acyn If Biden had confused WW1 with WW2 then the right wing media would have ridiculed him.
