My friend Ronen Avraham standing up for democracy--all of it, including inclusion, respect, and compromise: https://t.co/yXQvKicwD1. Regardless of where you stand on the judicial reforms he opposes, this is a beautiful example of how to protest.
Following (distantly) in the footsteps of virtuoso @randypicker, I've started taking improv lessons at The Revival. It's been splendid, and I'm starting to think that the world would be a much better place if every lawyer (or everyone, really) took improv. 1/4
(2) Success comes from saying "yes" to other people's creative ideas and then making those ideas better.

Congrats to the UChicago Law School class of 2021! You have accomplished so much already, and have greatness in store. It was an honor to teach you and to learn from you. #UChicago2021#UChiLawGrad
And every four years, December 23 will come two weeks before the counting of the Electoral College votes by Congress on January 6 and the subsequent inauguration of the next president. It is timely. 11/11
Here’s an offbeat proposal: December 23 should be a national holiday. This day would celebrate the anniversary of General George Washington resigning his commission as Commander-in-Chief of the Continental Army after winning the American Revolution in 1783. 1/
Plus, December 23 comes right before Christmas. For Christians, it is extra time to celebrate the season of Advent. For all Americans, the government will finally have a non-sectarian justification for designating days at the end of December to be federal holidays. 10/
Just saw @robvargas21 present (virtually) at @UChicagoLaw his latest research on race and redistricting in local government. Striking data visualization and nuanced interpretations. Eye-opening and timely.
Another great take on public health from my grad school mentor, the incomparable @ProfEmilyOster. And if you haven't seen it already, her site @covidexplained is a great, evidence-based resource, with lots of advice for families.
