Never use your natural talent or athleticism as an excuse not to work hard. There are too many talented and motivated athletes out there that will outwork you. Your laziness may not hurt you in high school, but it will catch up to you eventually.
If you want to see who your biggest competition is, look in the mirror. Once you conquer your own self-doubt and bad habits, you can begin tapping into your potential.
@missalmberg Honestly this unfortunate state of pandemic has created some really amazing moments as we are forced to think of new solutions to the everyday ways we are accustomed to. Kudos to you both and maybe it’s a new addition to testing in the future 🤷🏼♀️
As an athlete, you need to support your teammates after they make mistakes. It doesn’t matter if they cost you the game. Playing the blame game doesn’t help you or your team. Swallow your pride and support your teammates for the betterment of the team.
Nine times out of ten, it is your mind, not your body, that limits you in games. With mental toughness, you can overcome almost any obstacle and reach peak performance!
