The Panthers knocked out 9 hits including doubles by Will Newell and Tommy Marshall, and Mike Cook and Chris Zalewski each contributed 2 hits to the cause.
Marshall and Devin Coulstring combined to throw the fifth Panther shutout of the season.
W-H is now 11-1 overall and 8-1
More on baseball... hitting attack was led by senior Will Newell who had 3 hits, while Rian Schwede and Derek Frank each had 2 hits. Tom Marshall, Ethan Phelps, Danny Kent, Mike Cook, and Devin Coulstring also had hits
Baseball beat Quincy 12-2 .
Sophomore Tommy Marshall finally got his first varsity start after 2 outstanding relief appearances. Marshal recorded his first varsity win after going 5 innings, striking out 7, walking 3 and giving up only 3 runs, none of them earned.
Cam Gray was outstanding in his first varsity appearance, getting Quincy in order in the bottom of the sixth.
Rian Schwede, Michael Cook, Will Newell and Devin Coulstring all had 2 hits for the Panthers.
Cole LeVangie and Chris Zalewski made outstanding plays in the outfield
