#Wisconsin has launched its first Commercial Building Inspector Registered Apprenticeship program!
This one-year #apprenticeship will train the next generation of building inspectors across the state starting this fall.
As construction projects continue to grow, so does the need for talented professionals to make sure building projects comply with safety and structural standards.
Over 99% of Wisconsin’s public school districts have offered Youth Apprenticeship to for the 2025-26 school year.
Youth Apprenticeship programs are quite literally “building” Wisconsin’s future workforce—that’s what happens when you link real-world experience with education.
Wisconsin’s Registered Apprenticeship program reached a record 18,524 apprentices and more than 3,095 employers, marking the program's fourth consecutive record-breaking year in its 115-year history. 🙌
The innovative “earn-while-you-learn" model allows apprentices to earn money while they learn in the classroom and on the job. Earning a wage while pursuing a career path means more people can participate, and employers across industries are rewarded with a skilled workforce.
