@fabeeoo A lot of companies have developed their own internal software. When they get so niche they start developing their own system because they have their own workflows and needs and that way they can be coding and updating all the time.

@ruqaiya_h I've never used TikTok to edit. I've used apps like Lightricks and Videoleap. It's amazing what you can do in your pocket. They don't have all the same power of programs like Final Cut Pro but they're pretty darn crazy.

@LocalYikes I love apps that give me inspiration and TikTok is one of those. I like to bookmark and like posts that give me just a little thought. When you do that enough it starts to learn what you like. But if you haven't given avocado toast a try, you do have to do that.

@woopergill If you have Photoshop, either the mobile version or the version on your desktop, it's a really powerful software for photos. And if you're doing videos, download a program like After Effects then just the color.

@itsvivieri Go on the "For You" page, like what you like, or hit "not interested," or favorite stuff and it will learn very quickly and serve you the video it thinks you will enjoy and you'll be on a bunch of happy rabbit trails.

@moonyalexx TikTok gates videos. The algorithm goes through a process of sharing videos to a small group, see how they respond, (are they liking it? sharing it?) and then from there it will share it with more people. That's why it might seem like you're not getting a lot of view right away.

@laura_rvk As tempting as it is don't monetize yet. You can turn this into a long tail thing if you figure out your cat's niche. Grow the account and iterate on a ton of different content. Or maybe just do one brand deal. What the heck, might as well just sell out but I recommend you don't.

@omgitssparkerr Julian Bass is really cool. I think he's going to be a really talented creator. This is a great example of a TikTok, it's got great music and it felt high energy, but it also goes to Julian who has a lot charisma. It's combination that makes good TikToks like this.

@JohnClayAllen Always make sure you're making your best work. You don't have to be a perfectionist about it but go really hard and make you're shooting stuff you really love. Find clever ways to share it on TikTok and showcase your talent.

@TINARAES As far as what I'm shooting in, it changes. It could be 8k 4k, it could be 1920 x 1080, it could be on the phone. But for export I keep it at I do 1080 x 1920.

@filmmadfinn I'm not up to date on the programs that are free but if you're into animation Blender is still out there. It was first 3D softwares I ever used because its open software and its free. That or try Adobe, download the free trial and see if you like it.

@sadkidrome It's totally worth it, I love it, but editing is the personality type where you just enjoy being alone for 14, 15 hours at a time. If you can do that, you might be a great editor.

@theinfamouscpa I think it is a combo of both. There are creators making stuff offline, throwing it up, and there are creators doing it all within the app.
