@W_MckinleyAPUSH As a pacifist, I didn’t support the war. I believed in America giving the Filipinos the independence that Spain wouldn’t allow them to have.
@W_MckinleyAPUSH But you didn’t take into account if the Filipinos wanted to be integrated? And I’m glad that you opposed the war, but you still went through with it.
@W_MckinleyAPUSH You dare talk about #respect, sir? I was the one against the #spanishamericanwar. Remember when you wanted to “uplift and christianize” the Filipinos? Maybe you should listen to your own critiques.
@W_MckinleyAPUSH I was. But I am not as bitter as you imply. I accepted the fact that I wasn’t president. It wasn’t the path that God has chosen for me, so I focused on my religious and Women’s suffrage. Please, Mr. McKinley, tell me your views on Women’s rights?
@gavinapush1804 Because of my religious, pacifist and anti-imperialistic beliefs, I have to believe that humans are good. We have to have hope that God can correct the sins made by man, and believe in a better tomorrow for both men and women.
