Busy night for the Trojan Proactive Unit, officers were called to a group of young males seen to have been carrying knifes, officers made to scene were 4 males were detained. 2 large knifes recovered, 2 males arrested and charged.

Our CVU team have been particularly busy this last week thanks to the support provided on RTPC by the new TPAC drivers. Our CVU duties this week included some traffic stops and vehicle checks as well as providing advice and engagement in the dock area. #WLRPC #Fictional #2079T

This evening officers from @WLRPC_MetOps @WLRPC_ERPT and @WLRPC_MO7 took part in Operation Ringstead, the operation successfully took down an organised crime group operating in the west of London. Another OCG off the streets in an effort to keep London safe.

Shift change has happened at West Traffic Garage. It was a busy night on borough for us with multiple fail to stops and a person who made off from an RTC. We also provided assistance to @WLRPC_ERPT on their critical incident.

West Traffic Garage at it again last night. One arrested for driving over the prescribed limit of alcohol blowing 124 at custody!
Vehicle first made off from @WLRPC_ERPT and after a short pursuit assisted by @WLRPC_Corbett we stopped him.

It's been a busy week this week for those of us in MO8. From boot briefings to stolen vehicle pursuits our officers have seen it all. We also had officers out last night assisting the JO patrol both as JO and the skeleton police staffing.

Recently West garage Commercial Vehicle Unit have taken delivery of their new Mitsubishi L200. The vehicle has already been seen on the streets of West London and keeping the streets safe!

Recently officers from Met Ops 8 attended a nasty RTC, great teamwork from MPS, LFB and LAS to ensure a smooth and swift recovery of the injured party. Victim still recovering from their injuries but on the fix. Well done to all involved!
