Metro Rail will open early this Sunday at 5 a.m. to help thousands of runners and spectators get to the starting line of the 51st @Marine_Marathon, one of the region’s most celebrated annual events! 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♂️ 

Arlington Cemetery will open at approximately 9 a.m. and Pentagon Transit Center will remain closed until 4 p.m. with bus detours that will continue through 7 p.m.

No exits to the run will be available at Pentagon City or Arlington Cemetery. Runners should meet at the finish line near Rosslyn.

The F81 westbound runs every 15-20 minutes to Burke Center, while some buses end at Rolling Valley. We apologize again for the delay to your commute. -MC
