Keeping DC clean means taking action to reduce rat activity! DPW has been piloting enclosed BigBelly litter cans, expanding Food Waste Smart Bins across all eight wards, educating businesses on proper waste management, and holding persistent violators accountable.
Through continued coordination with the DC Department of Health, we’re working to keep DC’s neighborhoods cleaner and healthier.
Unfortunately, our 96‑gallon containers are temporarily out of stock. The good news is that additional units have already been ordered. Regrettably, there is no estimated time of arrival we can provide at this moment for a delivery date. Once the shipment is received and the containers are assembled, we will begin fulfilling requests in the order they were submitted.
