The Bears may be close to the end of the year but they are still working hard! Second graders completed a STEM project- they had to build a boat out of aluminum foil that would hold 20 pennies. You can see them dropping in the pennies very carefully!
Our very own Safety Assistant, Ms. Geraldine Curtis, was recognized by the Board of Education today! She supports our students, staff and families, and is an asset to our school and to SMCPS! The Bears Lβ₯οΈVE her!

It was a beautiful day for Field Day! Thank you to Mrs. Hancock and all of our volunteers for giving the Bears such a great day! As in years past, we ended with the 5th grade Tug of War!
Today our 5th graders presented the Student Led Career Day. They researched careers of interest, and shared their knowledge with the Bears. We have future Park Rangers, Pediatricians, Firefighters and Teachers!
