The knife had a drop point blade (perfect for stabbing), a stud on the blade (so it could be opened with one hand inside of a knapsack) and a liner lock to lock the blade (effectively turning into a “fixed blade” knife).
For those of following the Karmelo Anthony trial, the “deadly weapon” was a “tactical knife” with several attached “tools” - such as a goofy light - none of which diminished the lethality of the knife.
@weirdohoes6969@simplyalexm@imnotthanos87@prmade313raised Austin Metcalf was not stabbed with a pair of pliers. He was stabbed with a knife with some added “tool features,” none of which detracted from or diminished its lethality as a “deadly weapon” in the hands of Karmelo Anthony.
@simplyalexm@imnotthanos87@prmade313raised Leatherman makes a “multi-tool” with “pliers” as the frame with added tools. This is a “tactical knife” frame with a goofy light, seat belt cutter, etc. in no way detract from its lethality as a drop point blade with a locking mechanism and the ability to open with one hand.
@simplyalexm@imnotthanos87@prmade313raised The knife is a “tactical knife” with a stud (to open with one hand inside a knapsack), a “liner lock” to lock the blade, and a drop point blade (perfect for stabbing). You obviously don’t know knives or understand how knives work.
@JohnSmi88078679@shipwreckedcrew If lay witnesses witnessed an event, they can testify to speed in a car wreck case, whether a person appeared angry or surprised, etc.
@kevinblue345 Karmelo lost his right to be free and “live the life he deserves” when he plunged a knife into another young man’s heart. I don’t care who was black or who was white. You know not about what you say.
