2024-25 preseason swim workouts will begin the week of September 30th - exact dates for practices are to be determined.

Our official high school season start is Monday, November 11th.

We are looking forward to a good season ahead!

@WMHornetSwim will have an information session about the 2024-25 high school swim season on Thursday, September 5th at 6pm in the library at the high school. 8th - 12th graders interested in swimming this season are encouraged to attend.

We'll get the 2023/24 @WMHornetSwim team back together one last time for the WMHS Winter Sports Awards on Thursday, February 29th @ 7pm. We will give out a handful of awards and recognize both individual and team achievements from this past season. Put it on the schedule!

Evening Finals session at State Champs starts at 5p. Liam McMahon is in the B Final in the 100 Free and 100 Back. Girls 4x100 Relay is also in the B Final and the last event of the evening. "Top 10 in Class 3" possibilities are very much alive in those events.

The season ends here in Richmond at some point on Saturday. Five @WMHornetSwim swimmers in four different events. A great place to put a nice bow on a successful swim season. Go Hornets!

Wilson 4x100 Free Relay of Pittman, Miller, McWhorter, & Mack will compete at the Class 3 State Champs in Richmond on Sat Feb 17th. McWhorter also qualified in the 50 Free by placing 4th at Regionals. Freshman Liam McMahon also qualified in the 100 Free and 100 Back at Regionals.

Congratulations to Brendan Thomas for finishing 6th in the "A" Final of the 200 Free at VHSL State Champs today in Richmond. Julia Miller also finished with a personal best in the 500 Free.
