You may have seen that we recently were winners at the Social Business Wales Awards 2023, winning the ‘Social Enterprise in the Community’ category! We took our award around to all of our groups so that we could share it with our members, who are the reason we do what we do. 🥂
Thanks for all of your ongoing support! Staff will be on annual leave this week, and no groups will be running, so please be patient with us if you need to get in touch.
Come and join us! Please note that this is our last week running groups before we take a week off for half term. Please get in touch this week if you have any questions, or keep an eye on social media and our website.
Thank you to our Barry member, David, for presenting another interesting talk for us in our Barry singing group recently on the King and I. We learnt a lot!
Not sure what we do? We are currently running 7 groups across the Vale of Glamorgan and Bridgend, and we would love to have some new members across all of our groups! No booking is required and your first session is free. Please share with anyone who may be interested!
We are currently running 2 gentle exercise groups open to anyone over the age of 50: one in Cowbridge, and one in Barry. All exercises can be done seated or standing and there is no pressure. Come and join us and improve your strength and balance!
Don't forget that it's the second Wednesday of the month this week so there is no Penarth group running. Penarth members are very welcome to join one of our other groups!

We've really enjoyed having Isobel volunteering with us in our Cowbridge groups over the summer, and it was a lovely treat to hear her play her violin for us before she went back to Sixth Form. Thank you Isobel, and good luck with your A Levels!
It was lovely to see so many people in Cowbridge last week, and thank you to Diane for covering for Meryn whilst she was away! Don't forget there is no singing group running in Cowbridge today as the Scouts are using the hall for their jumble sale.
