@GOPLeader I start every school year with a "getting to know you" and "school pride" activity. Part of my slideshow is famous people who went to Washington JH/MS. I have a slide dedicated to Kevin McCarthy. It's going to be hard continuing to celebrate someone who is against teachers.

@GOPLeader I love my job. I will get the vaccine and joining my classroom ASAP. My union fights for teachers, but also fights for the kids. They helped implement health centers, fight for 1:1 student technology, fight for smaller class sizes so students receive a better edu.

@EnglishTeach07 It's worse than that - student teachers are also paying tuition in order to teach classes. THEY PAY TO WORK. On top of that, there are special tests they have to do called TPAs, CSETs, RICA, etc. while student teaching. And they pay for those as well.

If I’m forced to grade, I don’t think you can have more than 3 levels: Needs work, Good enough, Crushed it. Any more granular and I’m not sure I believe you. Feedback can be specific but not grades.
