here is an interesting case study for Biofortification value chain. Sia was linked with Meru Agro ( PVA maize seed producer), she took an initiative to start producing her own PVA maize so she can process&package(1/2)

CBC team is in Arusha today training processors & suppliers of Pro vitamin A maize products & provide linkages to the farmers from Simanjiro and Hai. Additionally, financial institutions will train the SMES on various financial services opportunities available for them.

Today @GAIN_TANZANIA is facilitating Training on flour fortification monitoring to region and district food inspectors.Both quantitative (iCheck Iron) and qualitative (Iron spot test)Methods will be covered using maize flour samples from SMEs in the region.
