@lakelife8888@Teyana29@deified_duck@justinamash Next year—when Republicans no longer have the House or Senate. Then Democrats will promise to defund the military once they’re no longer in power. The two party two-step. Either way, spending never gets cut and we inflate ourselves into debt slavery.
@Liberty_Xtreme@melblueeyes82 No. Republican primary voters here mainline Fox News as if it were the word of God. They completely lack discernment and wisdom.
@GlenBradley@IanJaeger29@Wrongwaythink You could run a jar of dog poop in this state as a Republican and it would win. They’re delusional. But that’s South Carolina. 🤷♂️
@speed_roge75310 South Carolina is chock full of them, unfortunately. They live in a Manichaean world where Trump and Fox News is the source of all truth and everything that differs is a lie of The Enemy. It’s a cult.
@JackFlak100@DeTocqueville14 The Republican Party is the left. There’s nothing even remotely conservative about them and never was. It was founded as a leftist party.
@armslist@realCarola2Hope Yep. It was easier for Boomers because they grew up in a period where it wasn’t necessarily much better, but it was hidden better. And if you kept to local and personal matters, you could easily avoid it. That’s no longer the case. It’s gone too far now.
@Chris_Somewhere@DanielLDavis1 It’s really not even in the best interest of Israel. But God has given them foolish leaders, just as he has with the U.S.
@davidarlington1@k_thos@SocialistMMA Notice how all of those are Americans in other countries where they don’t belong doing things they shouldn’t be doing? We bring this stuff on ourselves.
@RandPaul I’m much more worried about people associated with our own government. They’re the criminals who tax and enslave us. They don’t need warrants. They need to be shut down. Permanently.
@davidarlington1@SocialistMMA Jared Kushner isn’t producing anything either. He’s a trust fund baby working hand in glove with the state to enrich himself at taxpayer expense.
@ulster_celtUS@PrezLives2022 If they had just kept quiet most of us wouldn’t have even known it was happening. And she’s the worst person to deliver this. Who thought sending her out to spin this ridiculous story was a good idea?
@TheSoggyOreo@amitylee13 Yes, up until the 1810s or so. Burt Folsom’s great lecture on The Myth of the Robber Barons talks about how Congress got involved in subsidizing steamship development early on. From there they just kept expanding their economic interference.
