The Penguins organization is sad to share the passing of former Penguins forward, Lowell MacDonald.
Lowell played seven seasons with Pittsburgh in the 1970s and was a member of '"The Century Line" with Syl Apps and Jean Pronovost. He won the Bill Masterton Trophy in 1973, becoming the first Penguins player to win an NHL trophy.
Lowell was also the father of Penguins long-time television producer, Lowell MacDonald.
