Spring is right around the corner, and soon you’ll be seeing workers cleaning our streets. It’s everyone’s responsibility to keep road workers safe. Slow down, change lanes whenever
possible and create space between your vehicle and workers on the road. #PracticeSafeDriving
The 2023 spring campaign launched today to remind motorists of the importance of sharing the road with workers. The theme for this year's campaign is They're Not in Your Way, They're at Work, which is an important reminder to slow down so road workers can work safely.
Today I had the pleasure of launching the 2023 SAFE Roads Campaign. Our government has and always will be a proud partner of this campaign that aims to create public awareness around safe driving practices near construction sites. “They’re Not in Your Way, They’re at Work.”
