According to reports, The family of Celeste Rivas Hernandez is publicly calling for her accused killer, singer D4vd, to receive the death penalty.
On Sunday, one day before what would have been Celeste’s 16th birthday, her family shared a new photo of her along with a statement saying the death penalty for D4vd “would be perfect for this kind of human being, devoid of feelings and emptiness inside, and without conscience.”
The family added, “… But that’s not in our hands, but rather in God’s, and the California justice system.”
Rivas Hernandez was 14 when prosecutors accused her then boyfriend, David Anthony Burke, D4vd’s legal name, of killing her and leaving her dismembered body inside his vehicle in 2025.
