First-graders at @WOSnews held their grade-wide publishing celebration this week to mark the conclusion of their Personal Narrative writing unit! Students shared their original work with one another, pointing out aspects of which they were most proud.
First graders celebrated the close of their first writing unit: Small Moments; Writing With Focus, Detail & Dialogue. Students learned to plan, sketch and write a true story about themselves across pages. Congratulations to all of our published authors! @TCRWP

Kindergarten students are recognizing, identifying & creating patterns. Children learn sequencing & to make predictions. These skills lead to more complex concepts like logic structure in algebra. Patterns demonstrate the natural tendency to make sense of every day experiences.
