This week, Hummingbirds experienced the world of unplugged computing! They became real-life Bee-Bots by giving each other instructions, learning coding and problem-solving without screens. We had such fun!
Reception have been busy this week learning all about plants. We loved planting our own sunflowers, making flowers out of loose parts in our transient art area and doing some wonderful drawing and writing too. What a great start to the summer term reception! π»πΌπ·

This week, Cygnets have been learning all about the Arctic. Yesterday we learnt how Inuit's build their own igloos out of snow. We decided to have a go at making our own igloo using our den building equipment. We cooked food on our pretend fire and made our own sledge.#WPSYR

Cygnets loved their visit from Farmer Carl this afternoon. We gave the lamb his lunchtime milk, and stroked Henrietta the hen. Farmer Carl talked about what Spring is like on his farm and asked Miss Wheeler to hold the lamb whilst he talked about his other animals. #WPSYR
Eagles had an amazing trip to Lotherton Hall! We explored the Wildlife World and saw some incredible animals, then stepped back in time for a WW2 evacuation experience: we learnt Morse code, practised wartime first aid and even took part in an air raid. #WPSYY6#WPSYHistory
