“It's not about wanting it on the easy days. It's about showing up when nobody would blame you for quitting.”

[wesley_ryan_powell @WPowell1981]

Waiting on God doesn’t mean sitting around and hoping. Waiting means believing he will do what he’s promised and then acting with confidence.

Love that calls wrong right and right wrong simply isn’t love. Real love rebukes and forgives.

[wesley_ryan_powell @WPowell1981]

You’ve been born into a world of authority, and it is not you. Disobedience dethrones God and enthrones you in your heart.

[wesley_ryan_powell @WPowell1981]

Your life is not good because it is easy or predictable, but because the I Am has invaded your existence by his grace.

[wesley_ryan_powell @WPowell1981]

You’re going to hunger for some success in life. May you hunger for the complete success of the gospel in your heart.

[wesley_ryan_powell @WPowell1981]

Admit it, we’re all still a bit of a mess; that’s why we need God’s grace today as much as we needed it the first day we believed.

[wesley_ryan_powell @WPowell1981]

Why do we say we place our hope in the cross of the Lord Jesus Christ and yet practically ask the law to do what only grace can accomplish?

[wesley_ryan_powell @WPowell1981]

Envy denies grace. The assumption of envy is that we deserve what another has been given, when, in fact, you and I deserve nothing.

[wesley_ryan_powell @WPowell1981]

Today you will face temptation, but not alone, because a Warrior Spirit lives inside of you and fights on your behalf.

[wesley_ryan_powell @WPowell1981]

Today you’ll face things bigger than you, but you needn’t be afraid because none is bigger than the One who rules them all for your sake.

[wesley_ryan_powell @WPowell1981]

When hardship comes your way, will you tell yourself it’s a tool of God’s grace and a sign of his love, or will you give in to doubting his goodness?

[wesley_ryan_powell @WPowell1981]

Don’t fear your weaknesses—God supplies all the strength you need. Be afraid of those moments when you think you’re independently strong.

[wesley_ryan_powell @WPowell1981]

Today you’ll look to find rest by trying to understand your life, or you’ll rest in the One who understands everything, including your life.

[wesley_ryan_powell @WPowell1981]

We will never get the freedom and long-term satisfaction we thought self-rule would bring. Ignoring God is never a pathway to blessing.

[wesley_ryan_powell @WPowell1981]

God’s grace will expose what you want to hide, not to shame you, but to forgive and deliver you.

[wesley_ryan_powell @WPowell1981]

Tear up your list and throw it away—what God has planned for you is better than anything you’ve dreamed of for yourself.

[wesley_ryan_powell @WPowell1981]

Faith isn’t natural for us. Doubt is, fear is, and pride is, but faith in the words and works of another isn’t, and for that there’s grace.

[wesley_ryan_powell @WPowell1981]

Grace works to free you from your eternity amnesia so that you will be willing and able to live with the purifying hope of what is to come.

[wesley_ryan_powell @WPowell1981]

There’s not a day that you won’t need it; there’s not a situation that won’t demand it. What is it? The power of Jesus.
