The Wildlife Rehabilitation Center for Northern Utah was recently told by Ogden City it will have to move by September. 4000+ animals are brought here a year after being injured. We're doing a story with the facility for our @KSL5TV 5:00 and 6:30 newscasts. #ksltv

Female Belted Kingfisher with collision injuries (head trauma and shoulder). We hope to get her back out quick enough to get back with her mate during the breeding season.

These orphaned Osprey youngsters were nestlings saved from high-water on Lake Powell. They were not releasable & thankfully for WRCNU and its many partnerships across the nation they are now in their forever home at the @BronxZoo as Ed. Ambassadors. What if ... WRCNU was not ...?

We currently receive over 4,000 phone calls/month during peak season (May-Sep). A lot of calls & animals will go unserved.

@AddledPixie @duncraft Birds have been known to "bath" on ant hills. The ants will crawl on the bird and help remove louse (blood & feather mites) from the bird's body/feathers.

Two Red-breasted Nuthatch siblings, orphaned for unknown reason, but doing well at WRCNU.

Now after a few weeks of care and having the chance to strengthen their natural/instinctive skills they are ready to try out the world on their own terms. #ReadyForRelease!
