Women’s Right to Education Programme (WREP), led by its Executive Director, Dr. Mimidoo Achakpa, participated in the 70th session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW70), held from 9th to 19th March 2026 at the United Nations Headquarters, New York, USA.
On 28th April, Women’s Right to Education Programme (WREP) welcomed Dr. Erisa Danladi and Comrade Tijan Bolton Akpan of Resource Justice Network Nigeria. The visit strengthens partnerships to promote inclusive governance, accountability, and sustainability.
This Easter, we celebrate hope, renewal, and the power of rising beyond limitations.
Just as He is risen, every girl and woman deserves the opportunity to rise through education, empowerment, and equal access.
Happy Easter from all of us at WREP.
As we celebrate this season of love, sacrifice, and gratitude, may peace, joy, and prosperity fill your homes and hearts. Let us continue to uplift one another and champion the right to education for every girl.
Together, we can build a brighter, more inclusive future.
Today, we celebrate the strength, love, and resilience of mothers everywhere.
Mothers are the first teachers, mentors, and nurturers who shape families, communities, and generations. Their sacrifices, wisdom, and dedication continue to inspire a better and more equitable world.
Women are not just victims of climate change; they are powerful agents of change. Investing in women means investing in a greener, more just world." – Roseline Adigbai, Human Resource Officer

On International Women’s Day, we are reminded that climate action must also advance women’s rights.
@WREPNG, we believe that sustainable climate action must center women’s leadership, safety, and participation.
Happy International Women’s Day from WREP.💜

What does justice for women and girls actually look like in everyday life?
To us, it means safety, equal opportunities, education, and a voice in decisions that shape our communities.
