@ndioli74@ClutchSportsUNC In 2024, State lost one SP in Willadsen before the season began and another in Whitaker missed a huge chunk of the season to illness. That team made it to Omaha too
Sometimes teams can recover from injuries, but this State team couldn’t after losing its top 2 SPs mid year
@fleischman_noah They used these for a while and then used them again as the template for one that didn’t have buttons and had red sleeves. Both great. Needs to be an option year in and year out
@ncstatestats There’s definitely been some issues with their portal work the last few years - but I think there’s a good chance Wes takes the WBB program to back to back Final Fours if your top transfer doesn’t get hurt before 24-25 and never plays a minute
@BMMATTERS445 They have a large contingent of fans whose entire self-worth is propped up by what some rando at US News & World Report or wherever writes about their alma mater (or even more confusing, about a university that they didn’t attend)
A leaked email, a retro jersey and a familiar word: STATE.
Who gets to decide how NC State looks and why? From @PackMensBball to club sports to alumni merch, the backlash is forcing the University’s brand rules open.

@BMMATTERS445 I saw a child in the concourse drop to their knees weeping when they saw the usage of “Pack” without the leading apostrophe. Hope the branding folks will right this wrong asap
@mkburkhart@NCSUTechnician@TechSports Good luck getting anything from the Trademark/Branding Department to explain any of this. Sharing a couple articles I wrote over the last few years for some additional background if these are helpful at all

@gopacknow@pb_jellytime69@BarstoolPack This is from 2021, but the below screenshot shows how those with the trademark licensing department communicates with State fans and alumni
@MichaelTracey_ Just to provide some clarity here, this was not “fake news”. It wasn’t the Chancellors Seal that was replaced, but instead the Commercial Seal. This is what they rolled out in 2018
Welcome, @CoachWadeNCSU and @reed_vial3. Been trying to call attention to some of the decisions made by the University’s trademark office @NCStateTailgate for years

NC State coach Will Wade: "I want to wear the Slobbering Wolf, but they won't let me wear that on my jacket."
On wearing the throwbacks again: "We got a scathing email from the university after the first game. They weren't happy." They might come back once more time.
