Congratulations to our WRIS October 2021 Students of the Month:
6th Grade - Sara Baghdadi
5th Grade - Dominick DeCandia
4th Grade - Alisha Ferrand
Keep up the great work.
You may think those are ordinary ramen noodles. Au contraire, they are simulated rocks, part of our 4th grade's discussion on erosion. That corn cob holder is actually a plant root digging into a rock causing biological erosion. We may never look at Cup of Noodles the same.
Thank you WRIS for participating in our Crazy Hair Day Fundraiser to benefit the Children’s Cancer Center at Hackensack University Medical Center. Together we raised $200 toward our cause and got a few laughs as well. View our site https://t.co/cACg4FlQKa for more images.
Thank you to our Student Council for a successful Jersey Day Food Drive. Donations will be given to the Assumption Church Food Pantry.
Thank you to all who participated to help our cause. Go Blue Devils!!!
It's that time of year when students have the pleasure of dissecting owl vomet to see what sorts of goodies they may find. Technically it is referred to as an owl pellet & consists of undigestible matter such as bones. Whether here or home we get our owl pellet dissections done.
Thank you to our WRIS Student Council for their recent Toy Drive to help a young girl named Alexa to enjoy the holidays ... and a big thank you to everyone that donated.
Regular schedule, cohort schedule, whatever it may be, WRIS shows up ready for Halloween. Let's see what cohort 2 has for us on Friday. Go to our home page for more pictures of our students today. Go blue devils!!!
PJ day at WRIS today, putting bullying to bed. Tomorrow we're showing that being a friend is no sweat. Sweatpants and sweatshirts will be the recommended attire for all. Keep the spirit up during spirit week. Go blue devils.
Lunch was certainly different today at WRIS compared to years past but it went well, was safe, and the kids enjoyed it. Looking forward to cohort 2 tomorrow.
